20.4.10
April 18, 2010 (Day 8053/4)
There was actually a time when on being ridiculed for my physical structure, my first instinct was to think about giving a demo of the fact that more than flesh and muscle, it is the rock-solid fist-bone quartet with the driving momentum behind it that results in permanently deformed right cheek, nasal bone, top right canine and ego.
Now on reminiscing, I have a hearty laugh at how human I was.

April 17, 2010 (Day 8052/3)
The lure of money is desirable to the extent that it makes one realise the futility of it (beyond the minimum amount that one has been incorrigibly used to living with).
April 16, 2010 (Day 8051/2)
Teaching is the best way of learning.
(Anyone who confuses the above with 'Being taught is the best way of learning' should do oneself the favour of buying a nice little Wren and Martin - and more importantly reading it.)

12.4.10
April 12, 2010 (Day 8047/8)
There is self-doubt only when there is an effort to excel. Laziness breeds conceit.
April 11, 2010 (Day 8046/7)
The only purpose of earning should be to make any more earnings redundant.
11.4.10
April 10, 2010 (Day 8045/6)
Inferiority complex is desirable when one desperately seeks an objective in life.
9.4.10
April 8, 2010 (Day 8043/4)
Under-performance and its consequences are perhaps more convenient to endure than exposing oneself to the possibility that one's best isn't good enough.
April 7, 2010 (Day 8042/3)
Refraining from doing something you don't like to do (and thereby running the risk of betraying your loved ones' expectations and being regarded as a social outcast) is neither courage nor stupidity. It's plain common-sense.
April 6, 2010 (Day 8041/2)
(Sensible) MBA students sleeping more than 12 hours a day is not a miracle. It's merely exam-time.
April 3, 2010 (Day 8038/9)
Happiness does not lie in being the richest person on earth, neither does it lie in the fulfillment of some great task (which is of significance to no one else but ourselves), but it lies in small things that we do everyday - and most of these small things are purely physiological. (Mr Prahlad Kakkar would be proud)
2.4.10
April 2, 2010 (Day 8037/8)
Life, the universe (presuming there is only one) and everything in it are miracles.
Whether one believes all of them to be creations of an omnipotent power (who / which is apparently bored for eternity) called as God, or one considers all of them to be manifestations of purely physical processes (having no discernible source and purpose, at least at the current rudimentary level of human intelligence) - such manifestations which had such an infinitesimally infinitesimally infinitesimally low probability of occurring that one might have bet one's entire life (the good parts included) on predicting that the mindbogglingly complex physical processes can never produce this exact combination of manifestations - one can reasonably conclude that life, the universe (presuming there is only one) and everything in it are miracles.
